About Us:

Formed by brothers Harvey and George in 2017, Sussex Sound aims to bring affordable quality live sound services to the South of England. Based in the coastal 1066 town of Hastings, we are perfectly situated for any events in East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton, London and further afield.

With years of experience, we provide services in Live Sound, Stage Management, Event Production, Corporate Events, Stage Lighting, Weddings, Parties, Festivals, Conferences and Theatres. No event is too big or too small.

All our equipment is modern and industry standard equipment used by professionals around the globe, and we keep all our equipment fully maintained and our equipment and staff insured to industry standards so you can be rest assured that your event will go ahead without a hitch. We can supply all insurance and test certificates upon request. This means we meet the guidelines of the majority of venues/events.

All our engineers are fully trained and highly experienced in their respective fields, some of the artists and events we’ve worked on include: Royal Blood, George Ezra, Olly Murs, Elton John, Paloma Faith, Alborosie, Slaves, Dawn Penn, Eric Clapton, The Pretty Things and many more.

We’ve also worked with a wide variety of bands over the years and at a multitude of events from small shows in your local function room and wedding venues right up to sold out music festivals or arena tours, so we can find a solution that fits your event and your budget.

Our Team:

**Harvey**

Harvey is no stranger to the music scene. Having run music venues for his whole adult life, he has been apart of the live events industry since a very young age. Having studied Live Sound, Tour Production, Backline Technical Skills and Events Management at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute from 2011 to 2015, Harvey is highly experienced in his field and is up to date on all the current equipment.
Harvey is also a avid musician, playing in numerous bands in the past and currently. He has also been a freelance Sound Engineer across Hastings since 2009.
Harvey manages the customer side of the business and is one of the two owners of Sussex Sound along with his brother George.

**George**

George has been a freelance live sound engineer since 2015. Working in multiple venues and at many events across Sussex, he also decided whilst working as a sound engineer to study Live Sound and Event Production at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute from 2017 to 2019.
George is also an avid “gearhead”, and very tech savvy when it comes to the new emerging equipment in the industry.
George manages the logistical side of the business and is one of the two owners of Sussex Sound along with his brother Harvey.
